A Web-based training project for a Fortune 50 client used to teach more than 6,000 employees at initial launch date.

Goals

• Provide training on the new system to approximately 6,000 employees at a variety of sites worldwide.

• Reduce expenses associated with traditional, instructor-led classroom training (travel, training room facilities, dedicated computer systems, etc.)

Challenges

• Provide effective training while reducing expenses.

• Our client needed a Web-based training program that would allow current employees to take the training at their own pace and on their own computers. Additionally, the training will be needed for new employees as they are hired.

Solution

Mesh Communications Group delivered an e-Learning solution that has established higher standards for training at this company. Mesh did the instructional and interface design as well as the programming to produce an end-to-end, comprehensive Web-based solution.

Results

By deploying this training as e-Learning, our client is able to:

• Deliver the training at a fraction of the cost of traditional, instructor-led training.

• Launch the training globally on the same day.

Additionally, the e-Learning system has on-going benefits, allowing our client to:

• Update the training as new product features roll out.

• Use the training as many times as needed for new hires without additional costs.
